I am in search of a ring sling. I am a plus size mommy(hopefully not too much longer after baby is here) so I will need a biggie. :hehe:
I'm pretty picky on prints and such, so show me what you got.

oooo thanks Denelle.
How does the linen type fabric feel. Is it itchy? Hot? etc. I'm sorry if I'm so picky. LOL. Do you have other fabrics you are getting ready to use I can peek at. :hehe:

I actually LOVE the linen. It's not itchy and it stays cool in the summer. I desperately need to go fabric shopping right now, so I don't have a stash marked for ring slings. Sorry! Most of my customers just tell me what they want and I hunt it down for them

I love that one. (Aww, I say that about ALL of my slings, but I really do love that one :) )
I'll ship for free if you purchase from me directly (and not on eBay) :)

I would def. buy from you directly. I may have to wait till Thursday to buy it. DH put me on the wagon. Thursday is payday and I may be able to slip a purchase by him. LOL.

I see the pouch sling on your site. Do you like using those better than ring slings? What is your opinion on each style and how they work with newborns.

ooo and another question. Where do you buy your fabric? I was gonna look at some fabric choices and maybe see if there is another design I like and let you know. What type of fabric do you think is best to choose from.

I buy my fabric at JoAnns :) I personally preferred the pouch to the ring sling when my son was first born (he's 7.5 months now). I know a lot of people like the ring sling better.
Here's my personal thoughts :)
Pouches: They're not adjustable (most of them at least) so sizing is huge. Choose the proper size and they're GREAT from newborn up through 30 pounds or so. I love them for hip carries, especially when we're just running into the store.
Wraps: For us, wraps are best for snuggle time. I haven't personally figured out how to nurse in a wrap, which is a huge downfall for me. Wraps make my 22 pounder feel almost nonexistent. They are very supportive. I don't like stretchy wraps, I prefer a good woven. I LOVE linen wraps.
Ring Slings are super adjustable, so they can be used by more than one person. I like the look of the tail, and use it to cover up with while I'm nursing. I like linen for ring slings too, but *almost* any stronger fabric will do. Double layers of quilters cotton will work as well.
Mei Tais. These are my absolute favorite and have been since ds was 3ish months old. They are so versatile and comfy. They can be used from birth if you froggy the legs inside of the carrier instead of a 'normal' carry.
Onbuhimos are great for back carries. I like that there is less bulk to them. As a fluffy mama, I want to avoid the extra bulk! lol
I hope that covers everything. If you want to buy the fabrics yourself, the price is lower too :) I'm pretty easy to work with :)

I probably won't buy the fabric. LOL. It's hard to get out and about these days. But can I look at the site and give you some ideas on fabric designs I like. I'll probably go with the ring sling, because of the versatility of it. Maybe I'll buy a pouch sometime soon too. LOL.

Or....I may just buy the blue striped linen one off of you now and make a custom order soon after. It'd be nice to have two for options and if one is dirty.

:) Just let me know what you decide. The ring slings can be shortened if they need to be. I just added a sizing chart :)
